Search Engine Optimization Case Study

With our in-house brand of TopFlight, we have been exhaustively building our first New Media Channel for the aviation niche market since the summer of 2008. The endeavor is a blend of our three core competencies: Website Development, Video Production, and Search Engine Optimization. We believe in the New Media Channel model such that we set out to prove its viability with our own passion for aviation subject matter. Now that we've begun to get results and prove its substance, we are working on a new evolution to the model and how it can be implemented in building community.

This is an example of how our Website Development, Video Production, and Search Engine Optimization strategies converged into our TopFlight.TV Aviation New Media Channel to rank on Google page-1 for the term "Aviation Channel."

So, as you can see, our Search Engine Optimization efforts landed in position #8 on Google page-1. We continue to develop keyword search strings which vary the results, as in this example below, by adding a single clarifying word to search on "Aviation Video Channel."

As you can see now, the one additional clarifier in the search string increased our results from a single top-ten at #8, to two web sites and two video segments in the top-five - we quadrupled our Google search results. As we continue to refine and further build out the TopFlight.TV New Media Channel, we are making minor revisions to improve the effectiveness of our Search Engine Optimization strategies and therefore expect to see our Google search results climb higher on the list over time.
